Launch an agile global brand in a large corporation

My Role

Think of me as the ringmaster of a global design spectacle—where creativity, strategy, and execution shine. I led the design and development of nearly 400 products per quarter, partnering with overseas manufacturers to bring ideas to life. My standout act? Being the design lead of Avon’s Global Jewelry & Watch Collection, generating $11 million in its first year. Balancing in-house and freelance talent while collaborating with regional stakeholders across five regions, I delivered trend-setting designs, cost-saving solutions, and best-selling products—all while keeping quality and brand aesthetics center stage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Led end-to-end product design and development for approximately 400 SKUs per quarter, collaborating with overseas manufacturers to optimize production.

• Managed and directed cross-functional creative teams, including in-house and freelance product designers, as well as local and overseas manufacturers.

• Partnered with Avon’s creative team to develop high-impact print and video advertising campaigns that elevated premium collections.

• Provided creative direction for product photoshoots and Avon’s global catalog, ensuring brand consistency and visual storytelling.

• Conducted in-depth trend research and forecasting, delivering quarterly presentations to global stakeholders to inform product strategy.

ACHEIVEMENTS

• Creative lead of Avon’s Global Jewelry & Watch Collection, driving $11 million in first-year revenue with globally best-selling designs.

• Created “Ravishing Roses” A Mother’s Day gift set of a dozen rose stud earrings— Avon’s first million unit best seller

• Aligned stakeholders across five global regions with a best-selling product line, optimizing product assortments, minimizing redundancies, and streamlining the supply chain.

• Successfully balanced cost efficiency with premium design, maintaining brand integrity while meeting tight budget targets.
